“Upon His Name” … (ex. for contest Thus Said the King)

an enemy thankless
forevermore nameless
persists his efforts to defame

a magnificent master
omnipresent never

housed heavenly
with him a trillion reasons for endowing himself

a Holy Name as “He Causes to Become”
whatever’s needed

a shepherd,
a warrior in warring season,

all elements in respectful fear
to heed him

Noah: ark builder;
Bezalel: master craftsman;
Gideon: victorious warrior;

yes Paul: apostle to the nations

he elevates humbled to higher stations
as the haughty
death overcomes

knees bowed
profusely bleeding
then contorted bodies
tragically shamed–meek

dusted off
comforted by international brothers
loving

many of them experiencing horrific same

yet,

by means of loyalty to Him
as a sea-faring barnacle attached to a ships bottom

accomplished a faithful work
not considered game:

“And I will certainly magnify myself and sanctify myself and make myself known before the eyes of many nations; and they will have to know that

I am Jehovah.’”

Yes, like a Red Sea Rift of geological divide
will exist a “distinction

between a righteous person and a wicked person,

between one serving God
and one not serving him.””

Too, in this spread shall we proclaim?

However,
knows the Creator and his Son
what’s in the heart
who we are
what we try to hide.

Our total actions
will be the final
eternal decide.

We need to develop our brotherly love now, for it will help us during whatever tests and trials we may face in the future. Even now, before the outbreak of the great tribulation, we have a strong need for brotherly love. Many of our brothers have been adversely affected by earthquakes, floods, hurricanes, tsunamis, or other natural disasters. Some brothers are suffering because of opposition and persecution. (Matt. 24:6-9) Added to all of this are the economic woes we experience daily as a result of living in this corrupt system of things. (Rev. 6:5, 6) As such problems increase, so do our opportunities to demonstrate the depth of our brotherly affection.
